"Almost Skunked" Goose on a Bun
Did you almost get skunked? You only harvested one bird? Here's a quick and easy way to use virtually the entire bird with a delicious, smokey, pulled sandwich that everyone will love.

Ingredients

2 breasts - 2 thighs

brown sugar

red wine
1/8

ketchup
1/8
cup
BBQ sauce
1/8
cup
Worcestershire
1/8

soy sauce

tbsp
Cajun seasoning
2
tsp
onion powder
1
tsp
garlic powder

tsp
paprika

tsp
basil
1
tsp
oregano
salt & pepper
to taste preference

cup
corn starch
mixed with 1/8 cup warm water
Instructions
Mix all ingredients except for the corn starch and add to slow cooker or crock pot.
Add your goose - both thighs and both breasts skinned. You can leave the bone in the thigh and remove it as the meat cooks and falls off the bone.
Cook on medium heat for at least 8 hours, or until meat falls apart easily with a fork.
Add cornstarch and water mixture. Mix together.
Turn your slow cooker to high, let sit with the cover off for 10 minutes, stirring often.
Add to a bun with shredded cheese and ENJOY!
